WHEN: 9AM - 11AM SATURDAY'S

WHO: Students grades 3-8 

WHAT THEY WILL LEARN: 

Create A LOOP coding classes teach participants not just to use computers but to build them. Not to just play games but to create them, strengthening problem-solving skills and increasing analytical thinking. For even our youngest participants, concepts and terminology from advanced programming courses such as AP Computer Science and Washington University in St. Louis’s CS 131 course will be integrated into each class and workshop. We begin with visual programming such as Kano Code and Scratch and progress to text programming with Coffee Script and then Python. Once a student has completed this elementary coding course, he or she will be prepared to graduate to our Java-based curriculum.
